Qué Onda Planeta! The Future's Looking Bright 🌍
We do short, cinematic stories about real technologies and people making the world better - from AI for good to ocean-cleaning robots and more!
Changing the Narrative One Innovation at a Time
Qué onda Planeta!? is a Vancouver-based media project led by Laura Mora, an award-winning 3D and layout artist who has worked on major productions like Moana 2, Tiana, Nimona, and Entergalactic.
After 14 years in animation, Laura realized something was missing from our newsfeeds: hope.
In a world overwhelmed by negativity, Qué onda Planeta!? was born to flip the script. Through cinematic storytelling, we showcase how technology and human creativity are healing the planet, not destroying it.
Cool tech. Good people. Better world.

Meet Laura Mora - The Heart Behind the Lens
Laura has dedicated her career to visual storytelling. After years of shaping digital worlds for Disney and DNEG, she wanted to use those same cinematic tools to tell real stories, the kind that ignite curiosity and hope.
Her multicultural background and creative experience inspired Qué onda Planeta!? a name that combines Latin warmth with global reach. It means "What's up, Planet!?" a friendly hello to the world's brightest ideas.
"When people see progress, they believe again, and belief is the first step toward a better planet."
